Anna Ostberg-Casanova was born and raised on the west coast of Sweden, on the island of Orust. She has traveled and lived all around the world, and currently lives and works in Santa Monica, California where she shares her life with her husband and two daughters.
As a photographer she is inspired by the elusive beauty, strength and stillness of nature, people and food.
Anna is currently working on a project in which she explores juxtapositions of vastness in nature and overpopulated realms in urban settings.
Her work has been published in Milk Magazine (France), Red Magazine (Holland) Vrij Magazine (Holland) Gisele Magazine (Japan) L.A. Times (USA)
Online publications include the blog “Feminine Collective”, where she is also a contributor.
She was the featured artist of the week for the “Los Angeles Review of Books” May of 2014.
